Bev has been a member of the team “forever” . . . around 29 years.
“When people ask me why I have been here as long as I have I say it’s either because I’m content or not ambitious.
“It’s a great place to work.. It’s flexible so if I ever want to go away there’s always someone to cover.”
Three Rivers Medical is an exciting change, she says.
“It is great having all those services under one roof, so patients can go to referrals in the same building. It’s where medicine is going in New Zealand; I think it is the way of the future.”
Gisborne is a great place to find work-life balance, says Bev.
“We have a farmlet, and I like kayaking up and down the rivers, or on Lake Rotoiti. I belong to a book club and my husband David and I have three children and nine grandchildren, as well as good friends. I like spreading myself between all of those – finding that balance.”
