  • 5pm phones divert to Whakarongorau nurse triage service till the clinic’s next day opening hours (in other words our patients have access to medical advice 24/7)
  • If your health needs require emergency care, you will be advised by the after-hours triage nurse to call 111 or go to the hospital
  • If your health needs require a clinician that night and it’s not assessed as an emergency, you can access Practice Plus for virtual care – under 14’s are not charged for this service as we offer a voucher system.
  • If the triage nurse is able to provide supportive health advice, you may be advised to call the clinic for the next day.
